Overview & features
The V1 Design VM Series coilover kits are supplied with Front rubber upper top mounts on McPherson strut model vehicles.
Rear rubber upper top mounts are also utilised in the VM Series for additional comfort levels making them a perfect replacement and upgrade for your streetcar without sacrificing any of the features we all expect from a quality coilover kit whilst at a super affordable price.
(Rear upper mounts are not available for some vehicles, these vehicles will require you to reuse the factory upper top mounts)
The V1 Design offers a wide range of damping adjustment with 30 levels of compression/rebound which is adjusted simultaneously. This combined with full length height adjustment makes the V1 Design a very affordable entry level coilover system without sacrificing handling, comfort levels or build quality.
Disclaimer: Please note that operational noises such as knocks and squeaks from track-oriented products such as pillow ball top mounts and track-oriented coilovers such as the DS, RM, ER, HM, ZX or ZR models is a normal characteristic and NOT covered by warranty.

Common questions
Will this kit fit my BMW M3 TOURING RWD G81 body styles?
Yes — this kit fits all BMW M3 TOURING RWD G81 body styles.
If you have a non-standard chassis or factory suspension upgrade, contact us before ordering and we’ll confirm fitment.
Can I adjust ride height after installation?
Yes. All BC Racing coilovers use full-thread body construction for continuous height adjustment without affecting damper travel.
We recommend a wheel alignment after any significant ride-height change.
How do I adjust the damping?
Damping is adjusted via the top-mounted dial — turn clockwise for firmer, counter-clockwise for softer. Always start with all four corners at the same setting and adjust in equal increments.
